…I was sitting in my garden this morning, enjoying a few moments of sunshine on my face and feeling

the garden literally growing around me. After all the lovely sunshine on Saturday and more rain yesterday, the flowers (and weeds) are truly reaching for the sky! I love moments like this – and it’s worth remembering them when life gets so busy and it’s harder to find the sunshine – both literally and metaphorically. It also gives me a sense of quiet and clarity, so I can organise my schedule for the coming weeks with a clear and energised mind-set.

…Which leads me to some exciting news! I’m now planning my next series of cooking workshops for
September and October. My workshops are filled with seasonal recipes, helpful tips and guidance, and
lots of tasting and chat! I share my ideas and really enjoy getting feedback from all my guests.
Recipes are not just limited to dishes, I share my homemade cordials, pickles and chutneys as well as
(when licensed!) my favourite gin liqueurs and fruit vodkas. In fact, I’m testing a recipe at the
moment of delicious banana cake paired with a glass of homemade lime and rose cordial. Yum!

I host from around my kitchen table for groups of 8-10 people, and include coffee and homemade cake,
as well as a 2 course lunch. I’m also available for private groups – to celebrate a birthday, hen party
or perhaps just to catch up with some old friends.

Come and join me – I have a few spaces left for Wednesday 26th or Thursday 27th June when I will be
showing (and you could be tasting) summer canapes, sharing platters and puddings.

I’ll get back to my work now – the planning and costings part isn’t as fun as the cooking! Oh and by
the way, the banana cake is delicious (of course!!)

“Delicious food”

".... a quick note to say thank you for an excellent meal on Tuesday delicious food, efficiently delivered and enjoyed by all of us.  It was lovely to enjoy good food at home, rather than in a noisy pub or restaurant and we couldnt have danced to 1960s Italian pop songs outside the house either!”

Nicky, family dinner party

"So pretty"

".... OMG the birthday cake you made for me was amazing. My friends and colleagues ate it all! The raspberry and passion fruit filling was delicious and the little petals and flower heads were so pretty. Please can I order 2 more for when my family come to stay next weekend?."
